After my successful defense of my Ph.D. dissertation, I went to New Orlean for Mardi Gras. It also coincide with Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day. It was really a great long weekend, except one small problem....Too great, you won't see her pictures here (and we all make wrong friends in our life, don't we?)

  • For authentic Cajun food, you have to come to Louisiana. For real homemade cooking, you have wander out of New Orlean. We had lunch at this restaurant on our way to visit some plantations.
